Privacy policy

Oak & Limb Tree Service ("Oak & Limb", "we", "us") is a tree trimming and removal company serving Dallas, Texas and the surrounding suburbs. This policy explains what we do with the information you give us through this website, by phone, or in person.

We only collect what we need to quote and complete tree work:

• Contact details you submit — name, phone number, email address.
• Property details — the service address and any notes or photos you send about the trees.
• Quote inputs — job type, tree size, number of trees, access notes and the estimate range shown to you.
• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor. Card numbers never reach our servers; we receive only the amount, the last digits, and the status of the transaction.
• Basic technical data — pages viewed and whether the estimator was opened, used to understand which pages help customers.

We do not collect sensitive categories of personal information, and we do not buy or rent contact lists.

• To prepare your estimate and schedule the crew.
• To contact you about your job — confirmations, arrival windows, weather delays, follow-up.
• To process payments, deposits and receipts.
• To keep records of work performed, including photos taken on site for scope and insurance documentation.
• To improve the website and our pricing accuracy.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing blasts to customers who only asked for an estimate.

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business:

• Our payment processor, to take card payments securely.
• Our email provider, to deliver quote confirmations, receipts and replies.
• Our hosting and database provider, which stores the site and your submitted requests.
• Insurance adjusters or your insurer, but only when you ask us to for a storm claim.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.

The site uses a small amount of browser storage to keep your session working and to count how often the estimator is used. This is not used to build advertising profiles. You can clear or block browser storage at any time; the site will still work, though the estimator may not remember your progress.

Quote requests and support messages are kept while we are working with you and afterwards as part of our business records — normally several years, so we can answer questions about past work, warranties and payments. You can ask us to delete a record sooner and we will do so unless we are required to keep it for tax or legal reasons.

• Ask what we hold about you and get a copy.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to our record-keeping obligations.
• Ask us to stop contacting you — reply to any message or email us and we stop.

Data submitted through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with our hosting provider behind access controls. No system is perfect, so we ask that you avoid sending sensitive documents such as identification or bank details by email.

Our services are sold to property owners and managers. This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change how we handle information, we update this page and the date shown above. Material changes will also be mentioned when you next request an estimate.
